hey guys,
I have finally a second monitor to use with cubase 4.
I'm really happy but I just realised that I can't put the media bay and the pool in the second monitor because they remain confined in the project window.
is it possible to overcome this annoying issue?
I mean I just need to have a file broswer in a left side of the project, I can't believe I'm not able to do it in cubase, I don't want to open and close repeatedly the media bay every time I want to import a file.
please help
thanks

thanks Colin,
but then I will have half project in a monitor and the other half in the second monitor separeted by the screen...and even in this situation I'm not able to put the media bay (always on top)in the second monitor, this is beacasue I can't select "always on top" for the media bay...this does not happen with, for example, the mixer which I can move wherever I want..
hope I made myself clear
I hate cubase sometimes...it is so hard to put a fixed media broswer on a side???like all the other DAW??
I think I'm doing something wrong...

what other annoying issues? I`m satisfied with with cubase, i even was with cubase 4. Actualy i don`t use the medi bay often, but if you place it a liitle below you mixer on the second screen , so that you can see it a little, you can always bring it to front with just one click. Not a big deal..or do a shortcut or whatever..

yes I can put it on the side of the same window as the arrange window but NOT on the other screen...you can do it with vst and mixer for example but you can't do it with media bay and pool.
I managed to resolve it using workspaces which are nice but not the best solution imo...
