This is killing me!!! My cubase is always crashing when i import audio files. Can anyone help me out? |

that's happen only if you using cracked vst plugs
did you have any cracked vst plugs when you import audio files? |

Im dead against cracked versions of daw and vst plugs. So the answer is "NO". Im using legit plugs. |

You have this problem only when you import audio?
Check if your soundcard is setup correctly and check also the preferences in cubase. If you did your personal configurations go back to default and try again.

Thanks sunrise i'll giv that a go. Yep it only happens when importing audio. Thing is its quite random which has me more confused, especially when im trying to narrow down all possibilities. It can happen on a brand new project where i begin simply by importing a kick sample or it can be on a track in progress… |

no problems with 6.5 here too..maybe rescan media bay, delete pref folder..restart..
but pretty strange actualy, semms more like a pc problem..

It solved itself. I hav a feeling it was to do with mda plugins because once i bounced the audio with effect all was fine. I shouldv got back to everyone so my apologies:) i dont think anyone was having any of these issues. Still not 100% certain if this was the reason. But all is well for the time being |
