now ableton 9 soon right? yeah. 
i actually really liked cubase 6 when i demoed it but i couldn't afford it so i tried out ableton instead and kinda got addicted to it hehe i wish i could try out a demo of c6.5 now!

I was suprised to see Padshop in an update... really suprised.
I thaought this will be a synth from Steinberg that you can buy only seperately and that will cost really something.

Next week Steinberg will release a normal update to 6.06 for free, but without the new synths...
So the question for me is:
Are the new synth the 50 € worth and do I realy need them..?! |

only Padshop .. really only this.. would be worth on its own even 200 dolarse. This one is unique. Take a look on a video from Steinberg where they introduce this one. I dont know or I dont have a link now, I saw it weeks ago , but Im sure its somewhere on the net.
Its definetly a very killer update for this price, it has so much to offer like probably never before.

50$ is really cheap, like for that update. for me update from 5 to 6 was pointless waste of money. Now it makes sense! 
well they could give these addons in v7. the one that came out.
50$ for 2 synths (analog & granular), new "dj eq", multifilter, 3 new guitar fx, new handy features and new audiowarp tools is not that much

it will probably be free in cubase 7...moral wiht steinberg always wait one more version before updating ,cubase 4 was a joke...cubase 6 havent seen anyhting worth updating before this update and 7 will be probably out sooner than we think.
they want money faster and faster soon even bug fix will cost money lol |
