How do u maintain your project window always maximized? every time i open a vst or a track it changes size and i have to maximize it again it's kinda of a pain

Good question, and how does one reset window memory, when I double click a midi event the window is always bigger than my resolution so I have to resize it lol. Very annoying.

I manually set the sequencer window size to the max.

Yeah Cubase has always been a little messy on that.

manually drag/size the window as you like it.

the same should work for midi, at least here xD

1. load Empty template
2. create midi track, midi part and enter it to edit
3. manually re-size windows to fit the windows (don't maximize, the windows must be re-sized manually)
4. delete midi track
5. do the same with audio track, audio clip and audio editor window.
6. overwrite the Empty template (File - Save as Template)
7. profit

I hate Cubase for that, though.

I think that you should always right click-always on top,on every vst and effect window...I had the same problem and it worked for me.

To fix that particular issue go to Preferences - VST - and tick 'VST Plug-ins Always on Top'.

I don't like the always on top thing because then everything is on top, better use CONTROL+TAB to bring up the windows that are open behind whenever i want.

Actually you won't be able to work on two displays without 'On Top'
