Actually this may be sound realy simple (But its not) - My F2 button stop to work ! . I also work with Nuendo 4 (And i tryd on my old cubase 3) All work fine , But some how on the 5 no reaction and im sure this is somthing deep in the program definition but all is ok in there too . This start happen 2 days ago .. (I work now on 148 bpm track so i dont have to change nothing , Or if i bring in another track that already got his bpm so great but if i want to start a new project i can't because of this issue .

What makes this strange thing happen ?

Thanks in advance .

Transport could be out of picture, try change resolution.

SAme kind of problem with cubase 5: If i change tempo, midi tracks won't follow the new tempo like they used to do?!

If it is only the F2 button I would check my keyboard.           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

in ableton live , lets say u put PAZ ANALIZER in the second monitor..than in the control panel u change the position of the screen from the second monitor... the plug in stays in the old position , so when u click to open the plug in , u wont see it till u put the second screen back and remove the plug in from that position..

i remember this used to happen in cubase aswell

Hey E-Scape ..

Yes , You are right ! Seems now all work fine , Thats realy strange , Just opend an 'New Project' and the F2 back to work again , I made the same simple step i have done 2 weeks ago when i opend this topic (But then i tryd for hours and nothing work) , Maybe Cubase got his own mood and willpower . Theres an technical way to understand that problem to prevent it in the future (Or this is come and go - Same as now) Or its an Cubase bug ? And why the F2 ?

(And yes .. This afternoon i opend other projects in the C5 that i didt hear for months , Just workt on the same project for an long time , So may be its the same problem you had too).

Thanks agian ...

It's just a bug and Cb is filled with bugs, the problem is,there is no logic, they come up randomly and solutions are ridiculous like the one I mentioned It s possible that Cb has a mind of it s own, maybe it some kind of conspiracy by Steinberg to fuck around with producers
