Cubase 5 (live fx) input is it posible

I conected my stereo in bus to what i hear on my sound card so I can record directly from you tube to an audio track and that works just fine. Now, on that track I have applied some FX like delay, metalizer etc. Question is: Is it posible to hear what would sample sound with fx in real time. Just when I play it on youtube and not recording to an audio, something like cubase become FX machine. I have 5.1 soundcard so I can bus output to headphones so I can hear only FX track and not original from youtube on same speakers.

this should be possible with activating the control room. Set it to another stereo out bus and you got a fader dedicated for this. you can find control room in devices-vst settings(input/output routing) ..dont know how its called correctly..since i do not have cubase open right now..
