Go to the audio setup menu and select system, there you should find an AISO control panel. In there you should increase the samples per second under something called DMA Buffer Transfer Latency. When the samples per second are set too low you get these annoying clicks. |

well if it's a software problem then make sure you have the latest. mine is ver 5 R4 - so if you need it let me know.
maybe it's some settings problem so installing a new one would restore it to it's default setting which might help anyways. :)

Make sure the soundcard is not sharing an IRQ with another device. Especially the video card. |

2nswer the 1st question, and if the answer is no, continue to the next :-/ :
1) if u close cubase ... do u hear the clicks ?
2) the click... it comes out of the monitors or on both - headset & monitor ?
3) is audio interface (delta) next to graphic card and in the nearest slot to it ?
4) did u measure if the tix are in a measured time ... i mean once per time_period or depending on the CPU load.. ?

1) if i close the cubase i hear tik like i heard in the song. when i turn on the cubase the tik is back if im opening Vst-Instruments and the cpu is loaded a little the tiks getting thicker and bigger.
2) both outputs.
3) yes it is near to the other cards.
4) the tik comes randomly & when i load a little the cpu , the tik getting more frequently.

The IRQ is the amount if interupts. It should be on 9 or 10 or 11 , mine is on 3 dont know why.
does anyone knows to change the IRQ or the os operates it indipendently ?
