there is no cracked version of cubase 4, and there wont be one for a while. |

You can buy Cubase 4 pretty cheap if you search for second-hand or educational copies. |

youve just asked this question..right?
there is only a product presentation of cubase 4 as long as i know..but no real demo..second hand...hm..try in the cubase forum maybe...bur i don`t think that will bring alot...or ebay..or go for Educational Version...it`s half of the original price and worth it!!

i had (and have) to learn cubase 4 as i've started mixing rock/metal bands @ a new recording studio here in Greece..
i don't have much experience in previous versions, but i haven't dealt any problem so far.. everything runs smoothly and the environment is pretty easygoing (compared to what i've seen in previous versions)
small opinion, as long as i don't deal with electronic music there; i haven't used even one vsti yet (no need) and i'm sure there are hundreds of stuff i'm not aware of in this DAW.

my advice, go for it, i got it some months ago, and im realy happy with it, also if u use mac it will work on mac and pc
stable, no cubase sx . log error etc..etc..
and the cubase 4 have lots of new plugins and some more nice stuff...

I got it for $400 with the Educational discount.
Its got loads of new features; inserts can be dragged, internal side-chaining, better channel eq's, new plugins etc.
IMO if you make money off your music the least you can do is buy your sequencer & support the developers.

Try Ebay or similar sites. There you'll find people offering second-hand software. I've bought several plugs through Ebay and saved loads of munny. |

Yeah I bought Cubase 4 a while back and I'm very happy with it, it's been very stable and has some really nice new features over SX 3 that I don't think I could live without anymore.
So yes buy it, it's worth it, plus then you can always get the new updated version for cheap when it comes out
