So I just upgraded to Cubase 5 from Cubase 4.
I backed up everything I had on my computer, then formatted and installed windows 7 and cubase 5.
I took my C:\Users\Philip\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 5 folder and replaced it with the old Cubase 4 folder that I had backed up.
The presets show up in all my synths now, but when I click on them, the presets don't load.
Does anyone know how to make this work? I really want my Sylenth 1 presets back.

the presets in cubase 5 are in diffrent format as far as i remember (VST3)
so if your presets are in FXP or FXB u just need to import them to the synth
the media bay in cubase is much more easier to handle your presets and stuff so i recommended to use it .
and also i think there is an FXP/FXB to VST3 converter
then u are really done
hope i helped

YES. Thank you so much man. Using the bay, I was able to right click on the presets to open them in explorer, then from there I just went back to my backup and copied the corresponding vst3 presets.
:] thank you!
