Hi guys,
So i recently upgraded to Cubase 4 & everything is running well except for the fact that Quadrafuzz seems to have disappeared from my plugins.
It shows up in Cubase SX3 but not in Cubase 4. I know it works with Cubase 4 since i saw AndiVax using it in his video tutorial.
Does anyone have a clue on what to do? Thanks!

I'm really liking it so far! First of all i can get much more juice out my Q6600 quad core cpu than with SX3.
I like the new features, especially being able to drag inserts & internal side-chaining.
The channel eq's sound much better too & the soundframe feature makes it easy to look for sounds.
Somehow it sounds better to me but i guess thats just a placebo effect as the sound engine is the same.
I'm starting to dig into it by writing my first track on it so lets see how it goes!

Welcome to Cubase 4 land
Yeah there is a folder on the DVD that says something like old plugins. You have to copy them from there to get them to install with the new version.
I don't think I could go back to SX3 again...

@getafix
dude i have the same feeling. it sounds smoother.. might be only the "realtime" playing but it definetly sounds smoother and more "sorted".. don´t know how to descirbe that...
anyway i started a thread about it.. and got the answer same sound engine.. but i really felt that... and i wasn´t even expecting a change in sound at that point!
c4 is sweet...
but wtf, why do they leave out quadrafuzz... alsoo had to copy it from my sx folder.. duh?! |

yeah, there is in the dvd an "additional content" folder with older plugins, just to drag and drop in the vst folder. I thought at first that vb-1 disappeared and wasn't available anymore.
cubase4 is great otherwise, also using a core quad Q6600 ... cubase is taking full advantage of the multi-core processor.
maybe still a bunch of bugs... the users reports on cubase.net forum are impressive.
some really have big issues... here all is working pretty well, but i would suggest to wait maybe the next update to see if things are solved, in the case that everything is working good in your setup with sx3.
