For some reason, when I copy a midi track now, the autmoation that is supposed to go along with it doesn't copy. I searched the net and couldn't find the option to change. Does anyone know what option I have to change to make it copy automation along with the midi notes?

Preferences -> Editing page -> Automation follows Events

check that and you should be goo.
