Cubase 4 Audiofile Issue

Hy mates,
got this problem:
If i load a Kick into my Sampler (Battery 3VST) it sounds good,as same as in preview mode,when choose import audio.But when i import it as a audiofile in Cubase it sounds terrible,whitout attack and the pooggg!
Don´t know what to do,anyone else got this problem??

maybe as soon as you drag it into cubase arange it changes it sample rate? did you check this?

yep, it's a sample rate and/or resolution problem, check the dialog box when importing

Have you tried just dragging and dropping it from the Sound Browser or Mediabay?

weird...sometimes there's files cubase cannot handle (no preview, etc). try with another kick

Same with other kick, really weird....with cymbals and others it works normal... |

Yea... Well i reckon its something to do with the wave file itself. I had a similar problem... Well i was using some kicks on Cubase 3... and it worked perfectly fine on it. When i tried to load the same on 4.... it was saying invalid support.... and not even a preview.
I think maybe Cubase 4 recognises waves of certain quality only. Anyways this is just my cent. I cld be wrong too..
