yep, it's a sample rate and/or resolution problem, check the dialog box when importing           Psy stuff : myspace.com/neyaprod

Have you tried just dragging and dropping it from the Sound Browser or Mediabay?           ~Airyck~

Yea... Well i reckon its something to do with the wave file itself. I had a similar problem... Well i was using some kicks on Cubase 3... and it worked perfectly fine on it. When i tried to load the same on 4.... it was saying invalid support.... and not even a preview.
I think maybe Cubase 4 recognises waves of certain quality only. Anyways this is just my cent. I cld be wrong too..

Peace

Try converting the WAV to the project sample-rate and bitdepth in an external program (eg. Soundforge) and then importing into Cubase. If the WAV is already at the same rate and bit-depth as the project, save it as a different name in eg. Soundforge and try to import the new file. Sometimes file headers get corrupted and creating a new one like this can help.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
