Ok,

So, I got reason rewired to cubase 4. When I try and load a new VST that has nothing to do with reason. It always have the reason Instrument playing in the background of my new instrument. This only happens when I play chords/notes on my MIDI controller live. I can't figure out how to make it stop. Once I have something down on the piano roll it doesn't do it anymore.

The only way I can hear my new instrument with out reason interfering with it is if I solo the track. Well its kinda hard to come up with melodies if I can't hear the rest of the song.

Does anybody know how to avoid this from happening?

This is Another problem I'm having...

On one of my projects I use Reason. As soon as I turn on "Mix L" and "Mix R" in the device panel under reason rewire. My CPU spikes up to 100%. It was working perfectly fine the other day. Any idea what caused this?

I'd appreciate any help with this.

about the midi playing problem.
make sure u didnt signed any channels in reason by your midi, maybee u just playing them both at the same time,
just unactive your midi that controlling the channel on reason.

cpu problem,
try to save your cubase project to a new folder and rename it, it might work.

Good luck
