U just didn't get the logic boy.
Windows is so popular because all microsoft os got spread very fast coz they hadn't a good copyprotection.

wow . so much b.s on one thread....ouch.
ok . fisrt of all... steinberg isn`t bunkrupt at all... they were bought by yamaha recently.
second... the h2o guys sure know what they`re doing. and about them not knowing anything about audio well that`s pure crap. some of them know some don`t. they each have their own skills in different things. and they had to work real hard to crack the dongle because some of the actuall prog. is on that dognle. they said it took to much time and effort to ever do it again. they cracked it just beacause they were provoced.
3.the sx3 does work faster with the crack than with the origianl dongle. sad but true.
4. windows isn`t the best os for anything. except 4 the ordinary everyday user who sends email surfs some porn and uses word once a year to write christmas or hanuka letters. and because of that even the all powerfull all knowing microsoft decided to use linux as the basis for their next o.s called longhorn or longbow.
(suppose to come out 2006 but i seriously soubt it.) it just works better.....
if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

It runs like a DREAM.....never have i had it this easy!

Hey....like in the HipHop industry....back in the day....they would release tracks...or an album , but just before that happens ...they release bootlegs.
This gets HYPED and spread like crazy (if its good shit ok) ....by the time the CD's hit the shelves...they know those 2 or 3 tracks really well yeah?
they hear there a CD out.....they all run and get it!!
They don't want to struggle more and more to get those killer tracks...by looking on the internet for mp3!
They go and buy the CD. Sure ...in time that CD will hit the internet too.....but hopefully by then u at least got good exposure and money yeah?
This just one view one it. There are many.
My point is , i don;t see pirating as a totally negative thing.
