cubase 3.7 vs 5

when i'm running 3.7 on aps live i get 15ms latency,and with 5 i can get only 35ms without clicks..why?:)

I'm just guessing, but it might because VST 5 using much more system power to run and so you're APS driver gets less power for itself nd therefore runs slower...
kinda lame for Cubase though... welp. |

Dear Cactus, cubase 5 is heavier than 3.7, but it works much better with professional audio (24/96k), and supports more devices, supports Rocket Power (which i'm sure u can't use for known reasons) besides cubase 3.7 works as VST1 host, and cubase5 - as VST2.this means new plugins won't work under 3.7 what else ... 3.7 doesn't work with Win2k... you decide what you need, but if 5 runs slowly on your PC, this means it is OLD... so think about it too.
