I have the Tascam US428 USB sound card (http://www.tascam.com/product_info.php?pid=270) and Edirol PCR-30. The both devices have midi controllers but in this new version of Cubase i can´t get them functions and controls.

Anybody knows how can i config?

Check out the Generic Remote in the Devices dialog... it's the same as it was in VST (except apparently it doesn't quite work properly).           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Steinberg removed most of the support in the generic remote midi area with the release of SX2. The theory is that instead of forcing their programmers to write drivers for everything, they would free them up to work on the Steinberg products and would give the companies designing the hardware products a developers kit with which they can design the drivers by themselves. The problem was that they did really announce this change and several major midi controller companies are reporting that they are getting no response from Steinberg for their requests for the developers kits. Steinberg even dropped support for their very on Houston controller which was designed to run Cubase, so needless to say there are a lot of unhappy midi handware owners out there. This is a pretty serious issue over on the Steinberg forums over the last few months and it will be interesting to see how and when they finally address the issue.
