hello, got a mistery i've got to solve about cubase: can you midi control it with an evolution controller, or an oxygen, or whatever midi controller? That is, i want to assign specific knobs to specific virtual on screen knobs as you can do in reason overriding the standard midi map of the device... is it possible? Please, if you know the info would be extremely valuable! |

yes you can use midi to control the instruments if i understrood well your question.......and parts of the sequencer.......

Each instrument has it's own controller settings - I think you should look them out.
Help file, manual, etc.

Yes, that's correct: Each instrument has its own midi map. But what i want to do is override that map and move a specific on-screen knob with the real knob on my controller i choose to use, instead of having to respect that map an accept its divine arbitrarity... as you can easily do in reason.
Can I do that? |

You have a MIDI map for every instrument, why not just edit your controller so the knob you want corresponds to that CC? |
