You're computer may not be recognizing the ram you inserted. Make sure that your computer is showing that you have the correct amount of ram.
Press the windows key + Pause/break on your keyboard to check.

what does ram has to do with cpu load?
cpu load = cpu
besides, you can check in the task manager how much ram is actually being used.

because if the ram isn't working right then the cpu has to work harder...

a. if the ram isn't working right, your pc will crash. it has nothing to do with cpu usage.
b. if you don't have enough ram, the pc will use the harddisk instead, which will be slower. but it will still not affect the cpu usage.
cpu usage = cpu. nothing to do with ram. and if it has something to do with ram, it's a minor thing and getting another gb of ram won't help.

ram has nothing to do with cpu usage? thats news to me...
Your computer is an entire system, if you have only 16 megabytes of ram wont that slow down your entire computer including cpu?
btw I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I'm asking honestly... ~Airyck~

of course it will slow down your computer.
but getting more ram when you have cpu usage problems won't solve the problem.
get a new cpu, or overclock.
if the cpu usage is not stable, such as jumping or crackling or whatever i'm guessing the blame is either other processes running in the background - or most likely - asio driver issues, buffer size and stuff like that.

maybe, but Brain Hacked's problem is probably not ram related.
