Sorry guys, I'm a total noob, so I dont have the widest clue on how making the sound as for eg. Illusions said. How can I make the sound with example vanguard? Please, tell me kinda step for step, because else I wont get it... :S
I know the basic basic tough ;p |

Fou sure.
There is a main pitch lfo'd sound with a panning delay,and one more,shorter,stretched in a way,playing a higher tone.
Man what do u mean by tracking the keyboard?

tracking the keyboard means,
that the filter will modulate its frequency cut off, acourding to the key you play on the
keyboard, so if you play c1 the sound would
be less filterd then if you press f1 for example or visversa... |

Yep, this is very common pitched sound!
Don't use albino but can help with the basics of tweaking:
1)Take one saw (or mayby pulse) osc and modulate its pitch with an envelope. I know in the Disovery VSTi (or Nord Lead of course:))you can do it easily with MOD Env, in Z3ta+ there is a pitch env too (PEG in the Env section).
2)The main parameters for this kind of sound are Env Amount and its attack and decay parameters. Env amount value should be quite large but not at max - for example my patch on Virus has 57 of 63. Start with attack, sustain and release values set to minimum. The other thing is to play notes very low on the keyboard - maybe somewhere around C2.
3)I like to use 2 pole HP filter but sometimes i mix it with BP.

and for the timbre of the sound i think ... 2 oscillators , saw and pulse .. hard sync and some pwm of course .... also try to then pass it through some light chorus and tube amplification plugin .. thts 2 noticable on the sound ... |
