about labels hyping their releases, that's nothing new really...
just go to psyshop and read the comments for all the formulaic fullon releases... they get so hyped up it's pathetic really...
this technic (to make u think that this is totally groundbreaking music) is pretty sad imo, and i would even go as far as saying it is lying to the customer... doesn't even deserve me giving them money for their releases.... |

IMO even juno reactor is underground.. ok almost 
any way another cd is always welcome in my case
i like most of the artists on it , so i will buy it for sure ,

I am really happy that you know all projects,presented on this comp ( and can insure US that WE ALL know it),looking on your 256 posts on isratrance,I am sure you know all names around:),but if you are lost your directions or you need to find the answer on WHICH IS THE NEW ONE..,I think you have to break your streotypes ,wait untill release,listen this 9 freshest,fat ,psychedelic,groovy and tra ta ta tracks,and then you will get all the answers,beleive me.Maybe you just never listen what I am talking about..
And if you feel yourself so sofisticated to listen the samples (looks is the only thing makes you vibing in all this OVERHYPE PROMOTION TEXT),without bullshit bingo,contact with me in Private,I ll send you all the samples,so you can listen them in your room,download in your mobile rings,put as a Messenger greeting,and get more sofisticated or more sarcastic or whatever more.

Those 3 names are new to me - But I also look forward to listening to the rest of the release also.
I like plenty of the other artists tracks as well, So I think it will be an interesting release

Ah come one man - You gotta be able to deal with the negative feedback as well as the positive.
It cant be "oh great killah release" everything you get.
So instead of dismissing everything someone tells you as "childish", think about how you overhype this release instead.

My question will be simple and direct: were some of these tracks played at your set at Sonica? As I really liked your set and did not know any of the trax that were played it would be really good to get my hand on this compilation if I listened to most of the trax during your set... |

What really makes me laugh about the intro text is that it specifies that DJ XPVOODOO is one of the most recognised dj's around the world (SPUN RECORDS).. Maybe i'm too much of a hermit, but i've never heard of a Dj XP VOODOO from spun, nor are there any Spun artists on this compilation.. hehehe..
just thought it was funny..

It's quite easy.. I read the promotion text and start to laughy my pants off.
I do not need to listen to the music to see that XP need to take a extra good look at what he wrote. Yes he's excited and proud of his new compialtion.. good for him and I mean it. But there's got to be a limit of what a guy write to sell his compilation. Do me a big favor and go back to page 1 and read his promotion text one more time.. And read it carefully this time. And then come back and prove me wrong that he did not over-sell his compilation x 1000.
Then we can have a normal balanced debate |
