I have this kick i like, is there a way to make it longer by crossfading it with a copy of the original ? How do i do this crossfading ?
Please help me out experts |

Never thought about this, but i have an idea that might work.
Take two copies of this kick, leave the first as it is and timestretch the second to the lenght u want to have it. Then crossfade from the first to the second.
With a some tweaking u may get the result u are after

You could do it in Kontakt for example and only if the pitch of the kick remains constant at a certain frequency after the start of the kick.
I wouldn't bother trying though, it takes a lot of time -which you can also use making music- and the results will probably not be worth the efford.

in cubase, you just press "x" after you selected those 2 kicks.
in sound forge you can copy one sample and than EDIT > PASTE SPECIAL |
