Crossfade question in Logic 8???

Hello mates, i have a simple question but a problem i cantr solve in logic,
example:
i made a crossfade to a piece of audio, a large one, then i want to put that crossfade off but icant,always remains a little bit, so i need to make a new audio section again, someone know how to do it??

have a look in the inspector above the channelstrip in the arrange, set fade time to 0 and you re done
