What good is quality composition when you can't distinguish any of the components that you are composing?
Creativity is all relative...there are at least basic standards with production quality...and I was asking for an opinion on that..I don't really see the problem here. I'm a musician and I understand the importance of maintaining creativity in your music...but that's not what I'm asking about.

C mon man , whats more important for u ?
pure sound or originality , i think creativity is the first and most important stone to lay when composing any kind of music,
When ur asking for feedback like this its the same thing as if u where to start practising boxing and started to train strength before precision/speed/technuiqe and it wouldnt get u far, but then again its ur "evolvment" so do as u please just take this into consideration and think about ur priorities....

ok you mainly need to work on your bass I think it just isnt powerful and the song just isnt long enough to get a feel for how your progression would work or what you are getting at, or if its just gonna be 8 minutes of abstract noises. keep working and post a full length in the new tracks section.

Ask me about putting quality over composition, and compromising work on each element... to still not end up with a good creation.
mantik has said alot of wise things, and just recently i got reminded of what he once said to me, you got to spend 100% on everything, not just one or two things...it might feel daunting to think about how you going to achive clean sound, just think about the amount of time people spend on thier bass and kick, well if they would spend that time on everything, it would probably sound real good, i know i havent yet done that. but im looking forward to a fresh start.
i have wasted lots of years on not focusing on the right things, it has got me nowhere.
i bet if you ask most sound creators about how they view their old work, im sure they will say, "i was more creative and playfull" i mean the work they have done in the begining stage, as kids or or grown ups...
its something magic over it...
magic is often unexplainable, just like a composition made by somebody who did not know what they done, or how they done it...... its magic!
just go with the flow, dont put quality over creativiety, your music will sound good as you discover more things about the craft of music...
once again i say, i have spent years on the wrong things, i could have been good at some stuff if i was focusing more on them.. instead i know 5% of this, 10% of that and so on... its just frustrating.
so my advice would be, focus on something and practise. dont give up untile you reach your goal, then move on... and make sure your learn from your experiences.
and last advice, work with others! they can teach you so much... open up new doors, and combining them with your own knowledge who knows what the outcome will be.
