Hey guys.
I’m going to buy a soundcard, and I think that as for beginner the Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum would work for me just fine.
However, I would like to hear your opinion on that card. It would be really helpful if someone that used/using that card could describe its advantages and disadvantages.
So far, I’m learning to work with FL Studio and Cubase SX. The only thing I use outside the computer is a MIDI Keyboard (controller).
Thank u in advance 4 ur help.

if you can afford yourself buy at least m-audio
i think that the creative sound cards are good and pro comapring to cheap computer sound cards but if you comparing it to a professional sound cards like- RME, Creamware, MOTU and such- then this is not a pro one at all,
I know it sounds old but if you can save your money and wait as long as you need to buy a better one so do it,
That's anyway my opinion and i had long time ago the platinum audio card which i had good time with until i advance to m-audio and then creamware,
Good luck anyway mate,

to add:
I think at the price of audigy 2 you can get a nice budget card from maudio that will serve you well.

Tnx for your replies.
Althought I red a lot of articles on sound card lately, I still can not see how Maudio Audiophile 2496 PCI or the Delta 1010LT for example, is better than the audidy 2.
I would really appreciate ur help.
Tnx

SOS tests showed that the audigy latency needed to be increased at 2496 even thought the spec says its stable at lower latencies. Also its SNR droped out of that specified by creative at 2496.
how many ins does the audigy have? 2? You might need more later if you expand your setup.
you can get maudio for cheaper and get more out [and ins] of it than audigy.
