Please can you explain what this music is? I am really curious now!!

Undertow any samples?           Rather than feeling that you're about to have the rug pulled from under you, let me teach you how to dance on a flying carpet

Perhaps he meant a
psy-neo-full on goa dark melodic progressive new wave swampcore tribal psy-jungle nu-tech ghetto bass ?

Thats a tough one to do. Not many people have managed. With possible exception of Skazi.

If you add the word "cheese" in there, then yes Skazi has done it.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

Do people actually try to write music by themselves before posting these ridiculous questions??

Check this out.

Seriously a lot of people will terrorise you if you use the VB-1 but at the end of the day it's just a soundwave like any other wave you can get out of any oscilator on any synth and it's how you process it that counts. With a lovely arsenal of distortions filters and envelope shapers it pretty damn good, as long as you dont expect portamento and squelchiness, which I don't hear to much of in full on... well maybe a little portamento here and there.

But VB-1 is a good start.

Subconcious mind also has a track you can download and mess around with, but obviously as it's all set up ready it's not as good as starting by yourself from scratch.

And a bassline's only as good the kick you build it around.

I went through chaos with bass just because I didn't realise my kick didn't have it where it counts.

It's all about meeting halfway between the two rather than letting one influence the other too much.

Oh and if you want to make full on, then make full on, just don't forget to keep it psychedelic.
