...a friend uses the scope too at logic 5.5/w2k n he had pritty much trouble until it was running...( he thinks about switching back to rme...)
-the xtc plugins are not integratable in logic
-asio works not as agood as rme's one...
maybe i can figure out how u should set-up your seq. which seq u use ?

Hi.
I think u have to describe exactlly your problems with the asio...else I won't be able to help u....
Second, there's no answer to how many asio channels u have to use... it really depends on the project u work on.
if u want to connect some vst or adio channels into bus channels, or u want to sepperate the vst channels to more than one channles in the pulsar mixer, only than u have to use more than one asio channels.... otherwise there's no reason to open more than one channel...
about the xtc instruments - there is no reason to use the xtc while u work with the creamware software opened. u have all the xtc instruments as a regular pulsar instruments. the all part with the xtc is that u can work with several pulsar synths and effects as vst's, but when u work with the creamware card u can work with them in the pulsar and it works on the DSP's power and not on your cpu....that's the good thing in creamware soundcards....
If u have some more questions or u didn't understand ask me again. |

ok first of all....thank you for answering...
i'll put it this way, the asio volume on my computer is way higher than the analogue input ( i mean on the main mixer of the pulasr platform).
also, the asio always stalls my computer, crashs the cubase and then when i try to open the cubase again it says it cant find any asio driver although the pulsar platform is running.
I know i can use the xtc plugins from the platform but automation is a bitch and i have a dual xeon so i think it can take the blow to the cpu....
well i hope i was specific enough.....basically my sytem is very unstable.....only when i use cubase and i know it has to do with my asio settings. |
