hello people!
1 question
my fl studio in a track that has lots of audio and lots of vst-vsti
every time i press the stop or solo or pattern mode the performance from 60% goes suddenly to 95%-99% and i can do nothing specialy when its playing it makes a sloooow down like sound and sometimes i cant stop it or start it without waiting for some time
its strange because when it plays in full cappacity of audio,vsti and fx the performance is 65-75% and i have smooth sailyng
anybody else experience this crap and how can be solved (iff it can)

Almost in every case you list , you kinda trying to play whole you track and not parts as you did before that.................
now static cpu means - loaded instrument ,FX
dynamic cpu means - delay(reverb is cpu eater part of delays)
so think about it .............. |

I had never CPU peaks when changing the play mode.
I think there can be different reasons:
- maybe it is one vst/vsti which causes the peaking
- maybe worse cracked version
- not a fruity problem, maybe driver or very fragmented hard disc
Question: have you checked the 'Disable unused FX' option in the mixer menu?
Is it always or only with one track?
Do u have this problem since u use fruity or only last time?

EYB when you check Disable unused FX you automaticly destroy delay ........
Disable unused FX should be done separately from each to each FX and not all at once ...
Disable Unused FX - Means that FX will play only when sample play ........... so all fx continue will be muted ......................
by delay i mean reverb ............ |

No, thats wrong.
This function disables a fx when it is not used for longer than 4 seconds.
Quote from the fl help:
"Smart Disable - If this option is checked, FL Studio will pause the effect if the mixer track it belongs to receives 4 seconds of audio silence. The plugin will resume again at the moment any sound is received in the track. This feature works smoothly, without clicks, pops or other artifacts while enabling/disabling the effect, but it will not work correctly with plugins that apply "long effects", such as reverb that has more than 4 seconds long decay, delay lines and similar effects. However, it will work fine with all kinds of equalizers, flangers, phasers, compressors etc. Using Smart Disable may significantly lower the CPU usage of your songs."
Ok maybe problems with extreme long delays and reverbs, but normally all ok

sorry my mistake about it release time but 4 second is avarage of 2.5 bars so it is very critical in all reverbs ................. |

hey guys thanks you are all helpfull
first off all my fl studio is an original
second the laptop is fast (2,8-1g ram)
third you cant use the auto disable on delays and reverbs its messing with the fx in a bad way cos this 2 fx needs time to evolve
and finnaly i solve the broblem it was a reverb plug in from blue tubes that was doing that cos i was using to many of them 10 or more maybe some times
so i started to use them as sends and not as inserts to minimize the cpu load and its working ok
now
