It realy pisses me off to see people in this forum ask for help on getting/working with cracked software. I know a guy who worked as a pizza man and invested something like 40,000NIS in his home studio.
Music is something you have to dedicate yourself to. If you can't take the heat - stay out of the kitchen.
So get a job and stop ripping other people off. |

I agree with Yoni. If I don't make any profit from it, why buy it? Right now I'm using a pirated Cakewalk 9, and a Yamaha CS1x. Got it for 2000 NIS used one. Like Tzahi said somewhere, people with pirated software become professional and then they actually buy their software. If there wasn't pirated software, these people would never become pro, and then won't buy the software. Like I said before with mp3, it makes people discover trance music and then they buy records. |

Well, some troubles with this forum.. Shivas!!!!
He He -
I'll make some things clear.. I've been cleaning up this place cuz it seemed a little stinky to me. PPL if you want to thrash other ppl f**k them piss on them or any other kind of these acts, there are multitude of sites to do that - NOT HERE.
Anyone ( Yoni - for instance ) that will use unapropriate ways of talking to ppl, his message will disappear in the endless VOID.
I wish we all have a year of peace and understanding,
Bom Bolenat Sabkeisab,
Yuli |

Give me a break, people. We are not talking about millions of dollars here. How much does fruity loops cost? I bet you spend more than that every month just on clothes. |

It is not millions of dollars, but it is more than 1 program. Each program is expensive, and combined it can get very expensive. |

There are things that I can't afford right now (like an ultra6400 sapler which I desperately need). Do I go and steal one? No. I make some work-arounds. I use my stinky pulsar sample player, I use audio tracks and raw synthesis as much as possible. There are allso other solutions. I can buy an sts3000 pulsar device, I can buy giga sampler, I can buy that bitheadz soft-sampler (forgot it's name) and - I can buy Virtual Sampelr, which costs pennies. In the mean time - I'm saving my pennies for a real sampler. Eventually I'll have one. Yes - all summed up togather music creation can be expenssive. Don't want to invest your money/soul/time in you music? You'r not a musician. Wanna do music just for fun? Don't use pro - software. Use shareware - but PAY for it. |

Inappropiate indeed. Boris - I'm truly sorry for responding in a childish way, accept my appoligies into your heart mon. Things were expressed in a way to do a hard time I'm going through (I cant work since I'm studying "MCSE" which is a bunch of crap written in books by a company that apperantly was not Pirated ENOUGH! and it is what "they" call today, a "proffesional degree" , I wrote that letter from one of my lessons, and since the situation sucks so bad, I got pissed and things said got out of hand, truly sorry, I'm trying to be a much nicer person most of the time. :) Anyways, I think you should keep buying those legal softwares if you feel like it, but please dont get down on those who think diffrently. And please, I'm back on my issue here you freaks (if you read all of this bunch of crap - you must be freaks) , Who the fUC* is willing to help me with my music ??? love & peace to ya'll Yoni. Well here is my opinion and it's what i beilieve in ,don't start barking at me like you did with the other fellows :)
Pirated software is fun! Why do you ask? It's fun becuase if you want to go buy... let's say CuBase in a country like *israel* you will have to pull every string possible , run around T.A for 1 day (or more...) and sweat like hell just in order to FIND THE FREAKI'N SOFTWARE then you also have to spend alot of money buying it ( if you find it that is...)
Why not go online, download the program save about 500$ and enjoy it.
And i beileve in warez anyway...
Try it, if you like it... BUY IT!!!!!
Like i did with the latest MFG album :) (hehe mike... ;) )
What's the point spending so much money on software you know will just pile up on your desk? It sucks...
I agree with Mike on what he said i have loads of pirate sound applications and i am not doing anything proffesional with them anyway so why should i buy them?
Another thing that no one mentioned: These programs cost millions!!! It's a freakin rape, Cubase... 400$ or so Wtf is this... software market will always be greedy, 500$ for a program on a C.D that costs 0.10$ to make. Sure they spent alot of time and money developing the software...beilieve me they get rich enough without us(non-pro artists) buying it, there are enough proffesional people who buy these programs becuase they don't want the meneyek knocking the door "renevating" their studio ;) or maybe becuase they really beileve in buying it, i don't know.
Well that's what i think...

Well - for me, buying cubase was the easiest thing. Went to music shop - asked for it, got it. Payed 1300NIS (325$), which is a VERY fair price, in my opinion, for a software of such sophistication. |

hey boris (and all you softie-rippers you) :)
i have a few questions for you : 1. do you use windows OS and did you pay for it? 2. do you use office apps such as word/excell/pp etc. and did you pay for them? 3.do you have napster/imesh/cute mx/gnutella etc istalled on your pc and do you use this softie to download music? i'm sure you can make the conclusion by your self. and if you never used unlisenced software, never downloaded songs without paying for them, or don't have any burned cds on your shelf then i must tell you , you are one of a kinde. but if you do, than be true to yourself and don't lecture others. i agree that using ripped software is kinda stilling and i'm not sure i have all the morral justification i need for doing that, but still all my software is "stolen" and i think most other people are the same. if you add up the cost of ms windows, office frutie loops ,cubase or cackwalk and rebirth 338... you could buy a new pc with that mony. you said something about clothes... you'd be surprised how much money i spent on clothes for my self in the past 6 months... 300 shequels for new party shoues.. he he. the only clothes i buy are for my 6 months old kid. and now you can realize that for some people the option is not software<>clothes. glad that things are going well for you though and you can afford all that software hardwae clothes and shit.
have a very happy new year

my 5 cents- 1300NIS is too expensive for a software. it is too expensive for a private buyer no matter the sallery he's sitting on. I cant afford such prices. no one I know can bcuz its not a once in a lifetime purchase and usually it is not the only thing u need. spending such an amount of money on a product that in 2 years max will be obselite is outrageous. same with CD prices - 70+ NIS for a cd is outrageous and record companies should not be surprised that ppl are not paying the prices. with technology as it is, I dont see the major players (software and record companies) adapting to the new times and they should start rethinking and repricing. there are always the suckers that will pay full overprice, but that should not criminalise those who wont.
