i have problems with FruityLoops.
my fruity stuck and the CPU on Full!!
meibe it's the prosesor . . .

man try this
tools > mics > smart disable
it will dissable all effects after bar with effect ends will save your cpu
man try that
remove all unneeded appz ctrl+alt+del in windows and remove all but explorer and audio card drivers if any . start fruity
and if isn't workin try to shut down your pc 4 day until you prosesor as you call it will became cold again or some soft appy that makin same shit |

also I should be trying to change the buffer lenght in options->wave settings

don't try to change buffer size coz it will slow your work and you will have to change a buffer size every 4-8 bars
give a rest to your Pc
i had same problem man |

If u have Soundblaster try using the DirectX drivers for the card.
and u can play with other options there in the Audio properties.
or - you just use so many plugins (mostly Reverb takes alot) and it just eats your CPU.
