i noticed that some artists(especially one,which i like a lot and he is currently top progressive trance producer) are using sounds from a specific vst instrument,and they re using it just as it is....this is sad to discover because :
1.it shows no inspiration
2.they re using the nice sounds which is not that good for someone else to use (that would be me )

Well if the artist uses the preset in a cool and effective way then who cares. I mean with normal instruments like guitars, congas, flutes and pianos nobody cares to much if the sound is nothing new, what is important is the quality of the instrument and most importantly how well the instrument is played as well as the originality of the composition and musical arrangement.
I guess with all these super synths coming out like the Z3ta+ people expect new sounds which they have not heard. I also want to hear those new sounds but if you are going to give me a mediocre track, I much rather prefer a good track with soul even if the sounds are old and have been done before.
You know sometimes its even about bringing old sounds back from the past and giving them a new spin. Its like painting or making a collage, there are no rules. Sometimes what is new is not the sound but the composition, groove or bassline. Whatever works is fine, just keep it where the soul and vibe are alive.

celsung@it is not bout using the presets i was going to use mate,there are millions of souds and arpeggios!it is about no inspiration from artists i like and apreciate!that was all about!
aluxe@i totally agre with your post man,of course old sounds and used samples can give nice felling,it is alla about how u use them!that is what i was talking bout!!!he is not changing the arpegios at all.i kept one finger pushing a key onmy midi and hey,the whole melody was there!!!!!
anywayz, i am going out for a coffe,it is a baytiful day, the sun is shining,what could b better than this???

I'm far from being an expert about all those vts that you're looking about. I don't know what you want from LS. He sounds very original; tracks like colours, Airwave and go reality are being played daily on my stereo.
Maybe he used one sound that I didn't like cause its overused by many artists...something that sounds like digital Buddha belch...I don't know how else to describe it, on the track - After Effect.
He played is Israel couple of mounts ago and it was an amazing night.

allthough he is one of my favourites,and i have played many of his traxx in my sets!
i dont want 2 b misundastood--i am not saying that they re not good,hmmm maybe a litlle bit lazy
