I need your help....
Which of these parties would you go to and WHY?
10x in advance.
I'm ready to dance. I have time off next weekend, so we're going out. I can't decide which party to go to, though. I don't know anything about the artists except that I've seen Etnica a few times and I'm not too hot for their sound (too noisy for me, maybe). Both parties have the same entrance fee (4000 yen/adv) - typically expensive, so I want to make sure it's the right party for me.

I would pay a visit to Jorg and the SST crew.
I dont like SST music a lot (too dark for me) but i would like to be at one of their parties to see whats going on live in action.

Hi everyone,
Do you know what I think..... ehh anyway ..
Just for the info Kaatisu , I'll be playing live lot of differents styles, there won't be any minimal or too dark music like the usual SST stuff, only intensive full on with some crazy stuff (eg:the new track which will be on the next 3D Vision compilation masterminds...) And also more experimental and groovy stuff (like the stuff which will be on my album ..) and also surprises..

You see the dilemmas I'm faced with! I guess I need some perspective if my biggest issue is which party to go to!

Ended up going to the Shiva Space party. The warm-up DJs were terrible - it wasn't looking good. Cosmo Chaos changed things around - nice sound, crazy full-on. Illumination, though, blew me away. Great building peaks. PEAKS!!! If you like morning full-on, you'll probably love Illumination. Crazy ol'Jorg gave us a great set to finish off the party. The nice thing was that the hall wasn't too packed, so we could move around and breath (not always possible at the popular parties in Japan). I heard the Solstice party was good but really packed.
I guess this review is about a month late. Oh well.

Mr. Dvir: Thanks for the great sounds. You've got something figured out very well. I look forward to your set at sunrise in the mountains hopefully in the near future (?).
Mr. anteater: I was actually leaning towards the Wrecked Machines show. (but in the end I was very happy with the choice). The factors I didn't include in the original post was my girlfriend and convenience. The Solstice party was at Yokohama Bay Hall, which usually means a bit of a hike in the morning to get to a train station. So, we'll be checkin Wrecked Machines at the next (more convenient) chance. haha.
