way back. some german dude. 94-95 i think (maybee even earlier) labels I think Eye Q but I'm not sure.

released an album called 'thinking about myself'. i'm afraid i cannot remember the label but borris is right about the time.
this is the stuff i first started listening too (after the orb). haven't listened to it in years - dread to think what it would sound like now

I think there was a thread about him some time ago?
Theres so many classic of melodic trance the guy did, Heavens Tears, Space Track, etc etc.
He has a site (www.cosmicbaby.de), but theres not much there... |

I was just listening to his old tunes, before few time.
I got his first cd-Stellar Supreme...and i was thinkink about the same. What happend with this guy.And not only with him, for example Humate or Effective Force were great also.
anyone knows??

Cosmic Baby has rleased his debut 'thinking about myself' album on logic records & some others later but i don't them.
he started trance music in 92 under the project 'The Visions Of Shiva' with Paul Van Dyk, they made at least 2 or 3 tracks together on MFS then each one gone solo. Maybe some here remember of 'Perfect Day' their best tune .
About Cosmic Baby's carreer , it's a bit sad, indeed he's got lot of bad luck coz Logic where he was signed went bankrupt & was bought by another label connected with classical music which at its turn go down some time later.
There's a thing important to me, i would like to tell here about Cosmic Baby coz seems very few people know it, there's a big trance anthem called 'Café Del Mar' by Energy 52. Indeed Paul M (aka Kid Paul) was credited for this one & Cosmic Baby just as co-producer, in reality it's him who made the whole track & Paul M made very few on it.
@djtv:Humate also was released on MFS i think or Superstition, i remember a best of was released around 1998. |

Ho wow what a nostalgia...
At 94 -"Thinking about myself"- was my fevorite album,
and my fevorite treck were-fantasia...
What a great album.
sad that there isnt more great albums from cosmic baby.
