yes! 
Maybe is a problematic vst bundle. some vst doesn't work on certain machines.
Just uninstall or delete the .dlls
I don't think Adobe has anything to do with it!
If you have a firewall check out the trusted/blocked appkications!
Sometimes it blocks some program features..
Like opening filders, savings etc.
If you have another options besides Asio, choose them. Configure this before starting a new project.
If none of this works, make a new fresh OS install eheh

I saved my track!
It was halion 3 h20 release... for some reason it did not want to work for me any more. It was fine in Cuabse 4 for 2 days then pooped out. weird huh?
Now Cubase 4 and 5 crash if its opened, so It got the boot and I'm looking for a new sampler that works as well without being cpu heavy.
Suggestions?

There's a way you can get the cracked halion to work. Poke around the forums at vstclub.com and you'll find it.

Yup Halion 3.5 air iso...
Uses the same driver so it should be all good.
