convertting bars to midi file in cubase SX

Hi ,
I am using Sx ,
I have a z3ta+ synth which has an Arp that can load midi ...
any way I am trying to convert a bar I wrote to midi file , but when I do Export -> midi I get a midi file with all the scores I have on the track,
How can I export this one bar to a midi file ?

Copy just what you want exported to a new project, and then export it.

I'm using VST 5.1 but I think the process is the same.
Solo the track you want to export and select it (just to make sure!). If you export the song or part as a format 1 midi file, all of the track data/parameters should be kept intact. Move the locators to the start & end of the track to be exported.
A format 0 midi file mixes all channels into one track, making separating the individual instrument parts tricky.
