Hello

I have to convert some og my work into wavefiles cause of too much use of cpu. I'm using cubase sx 2.2.

I have a little problem though.. When I convert my bassline into small peaces, bassline1.wav etc, then i "clicks" between the to wavefiles while it's playing.. it clicks when it goes from wavefile to wavefile.

I do now that it's because of the "basstail", it's not a problem if there is no sound at the end of the file, but isn't it possible to play them whitout it clicks??

Help!

...the road?

I think you meant "snap to zero-crossings", ie. make it so that you can only edit where the waveform crosses the zero-line.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

or if you edit the waveform anywhere (where it might not be equal to zero), be sure that the last sample is zero and there is no big discontinuity in the end of the waveform, i.e. no big jump. (here, with sample i mean one value received from the sampling process from an analogue voltage). i.e. fade out and you'll be on the safe side

good luck!
