When I got a 24/96 file and I wanna convert it to 16/44.1, what to convert first, the bit depth or sample rate?
Or it doesn't matter?

Doesn't really matter, as long as you don't forget to use dither process. Which helps the convertion to sound better           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I think diethring must allways come last in the process...

and since bit depth converting does much more to the wav than resampling, it's better to do it last - imho.
