Controller Problem with Reason-Rewired

I'm having a bit of a problem assigning the midi controller knobs to reason while in rewire. I use traction as the "mom", where the vst's behave smoothly with the knobs. When reason is alone, i can do it. I got the EMU xboard 49. Any ideas?

it happens to me also but with cubase/fl and xboard 25.
i think when rewiring u can assign knobs only in the host software.
