is it possible, to control with my midi-keyboard potis (evolution) any parameter, which can be controled by the cubase automation, and if so, how is it possible, to save profiles for different instruments and effects?
and the other thing i'd like to know is, is there a difference between connecting the keyboard via usb and connecting it via midi?
do i have more options with the usb-way?

Check out the Generic Remote page in the Device Setup window.

Connecting MIDI via USB is exactly the same except the timing might be slightly better as USB has a higher bit-rate than a classic MIDI connection.
