Controling Cubase Mixer with my Korg Kontrol49 ?

Hi
i've just tried to control some solo buttons of the cubase mixer with the touch pads of my korg midi keyboard, but unfortunately, I didn't have much success.
can anyone of you guys give me a short instruction, how to connect some mixer parameters with my midi controler?
I was fooling around with this for over one hour, but still don't have a clue.

try to search the korg site for controller preferences. if you can't find anything, the generic remote of cubase is a good point to start to make your own configuration.
as soon as you got access to the generic remote, you should be able to find the mixer controls predefined. generic remote should be midi learn enabled. press the learn button on the mixer controls and twist those knobs, buttons and so on. be sure to investigate the different modes for buttons at the right hand side of the generic remote.

my problem was, that generic remote didn't work.
in the meantime, i've found out, that ther was something wrong with my midi channel settings.
I've fixed that, and now everything works fine |
