In all reality, I don't care if they did land on the moon when they said they did in the moon race. It's not that important I guess, just another lie of many.
It was so important for the US to be the first to be the first, so they might have hoaxed it.. Especially since Russia was in the lead in the space race.

Either way if they did land with Apollo 11 or not.. They properly did land later on the moon later on and planted the flag, so it's there now. I mean, ho difficult can it be to land on the moon?

Anyway.. interesting and fun documentary to watch

well i had seen a documentry on the same subject some time ago on Nat. Geo & well i can say bout 1 thing & that's the photographs where u cannot see ne stars.
well being an amatuer photographer myself i can argue both ways.
if the photographer had taken the correct exposure for earth i think the stars wont apper bcoz they aren't bright enough. but there was this 1 photograph in particular which IMO sud have show satrs but it does'nt
so i m not convinced either way.           the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!!

here is an article by an astronomer showing that this claim is flase, ro at least attempting veryw ell to disqualify it.
The article is very interesting, as is the rest of the site and his book.

Oh come on.

The moon hoax is a mighty fine measure of gullibility. Use a little critical thinking and you'll see how absurd it all is.

absolutely +1

regarding the "no-stars-issue": even in modern photographies of events in space (photos of MIR or ISS for example: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b9/Atlantis_Docked_to_Mir.jpg/682px-Atlantis_Docked_to_Mir.jpg) there are no stars visible.

@anak
bro this is not as u think (i mean the no stars issue)
i m photograher myself n technically yes it bothers me that the light of the stars are not registered while the much darker surface of the moon is reveled properly

i think if they can provide the 'EXIM Data' of these shots i wud be a better judge.

i don't know about such things myself, but this is what wikipedia says: "The sun was shining. Cameras were set for daylight exposure." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Moon_Landing_hoax_accusations#_note-plait2002

the german entry gets a lot more into details, and it makes total sense. i've tried translating it but it seems i don't have enough technical vocabulary/knowledge to do it properly.

however, this is not the only claim. each and any of the claims has been ruled out, and not only by NASA scientists and american universities but also by the sowjet union, which never showed any sign of belief in those conspiracy theories, although they would have been the ones to profit the most if it was a hoax.
