yea there will be something resembling trance...though not in the usual full on or progressive psy style...trance can also be achieved in more minimal ways...djs from the psytrance community will be here, carrying over the same psy touch, interpreted through new styles, more conducive to a relaxed weekday evening... |

the vibe is given by the music...
there is no trance party without trance music
not to say this won't be a nice event; you guys were making a nice gathering every week at subtonic.
but let's keep raves and trance separate... i think you're talking about a mid-week rave feel - that is something other than trance, and i was surprised to see it on isra...
i support you guys expanding your scene - and by all means, invite the crowd here - but PLEASE don't call raves or other events "trance vibe" or "trance parties"....
thank u... from a concerned citizen of the international psytrance alliance....

this has not been promoted as a trance party, or a rave for that matter, because it is neither...it is something different - an alternative that can and does appeal to many in the psytrance community...that being said, you're right, since it's not a psytrance party it doesn't really belong on this forum, so from now on, it will only be posted elsewhere. |

Trance is about music and without that music you are headed for a different state of mind  ...But, if you are looking for a psytrance party then this is the forum dedicated to this particular genre of music... "PSYTRANCE"

I check isratrance and rhythmism.com for electronic music in nyc.
the latter has many genres, and the former, only one; like its supposed to be.
The psytrance scene has always been sacred, religious, and exclusive for a lot of people (or maybe a highly defined, acid induced fetish  ).
...even if theyre not karahana dancing bringing up the vibe at the party.

whatever else you want to put into it is up to you. DO NOT lie to these people about what is TRANCE.

And please, stop with the "Goa hippy" BS. You've never been to Goa (i'm guessing). "HIPPY" is about as far away as you can imagine. We'll teach you that this season in Goa if you dare to come.

i'd love to have an HONEST conversation with you about what you're doing here. email me if you're interested. Isratrance does not need to be subjected to this discussion.
But i will always challenge you and anyone else who claims HONESTY and implied SPIRITUALITY (i.e. PSYCHEDELIA) when you promote BS.
