Greetingz!

I have Blend 6 mixer and i have a small problem (dillema). I want to connect next gear to mixer : line out from guitar amp to first channel input, dynamic mic to second channel mic input, and the third thing is a problem.I am working with pc (using plug-ins and editing software...). Should i connect line out (L,R) from my sound card to line in on third mixer channel, and than main mixer output to soundcard input(L,R), or just to conect guitar amp and mic to mixer, and than all that to soundcard.

Thanx in advance

Does your mixer have Record IN/OUT? you could utilize them: run signal from your comp into rec in, and signal from mixer's rec out into the soundcard.

It has,but i have enough channels, the problem is should my comp's signal go to mixer, and from mixer to comp,so it can be mixed with other two channels on mixer, and than recorded in some software.

technically you can make a connection like that, but i think, since the audio signal will be looped, it might generate noize and distortion.

Lemme ask you a question: how many ins and outs you have on your sound card?          www.venomous2.com

IN(L,R),OUT(L,R)-Emu 1212m,plus adat,spdif...
But that i don't count because of the mixer...

Ah ok, never mind.
If you had multi channel audio interface you could have avoided the distortion and noize by routing signal internally.

Anyway, try it with the line ins (on the mixer) first and then record in/out.           www.venomous2.com
