Hey guys,
I'm the happy owner of a Virus Indigo, which sounds amazing! I was eager to get it set up with my sequencer so i went and got a midi cable to hook it up with my soundcard..
I got a regular male to male midi cable but turns out when i got home the midi input on the FF400 is not the same as the one's on the cable..So while it goes into the Virus it won't fit into the FF400..
Does anyone have a clue which kind of cable i need? Unfortunately the shops are closed now and i can't use it till monday!
First time i'm using hardware so i'm a little clueless about it, thanks for the help!

it looks like you need a breakout cable, you plug the breakout into the back of the ff, then the midi cables into the other end of the breakout.
did you get the FF new? it might have come with the breakout cable, maybe have a look in the box? |

the ff400 does come with a breakout cable with 2 midi ins and 2 outs.
i have an indigo and ff400. they work with no problems.

Yeah i figured out that i need the breakout cable. Problem is when i went home over vacations i took the fireface box with all the extra cables with me & left it there since i didn't need them at the time..
Does anyone have a clue if i can purchase the breakout cable separately from somewhere or use something else instead?
