Connecting P11A to FireFace 800

Hi,
My new monitors arrived yesterday, ADAM P11A, and I have a new audio interface on the way, FireFace 800.
Questions:
Can I connect the ADAMs directly to the FireFace? There doesn't appear to be a volume control on the P11s. I don't want to blow my speakers.
Also, do I need a special type of cable to connect them or will any XLR to Jack cable do? I want quality cables! Any advice would be really appreciated.

You can connect the Fireface with the Adams directly with a 1/4" TRS to XLR cable.

If you don't want to control the volume digitally a monitor controller will do the job. e.g. Mackie Big Knob, Presonus Monitor or Central Station, SM Pro Audio M-Patch2 or Nano Patch.

Any cable will do the job. All those ultra expensive "special" cables are imo a big mumbo jumbo. Good quality plugs make sense, especially if you plug em quite often. But i assume this won't be the case with the monitors.

yes the cable are good man but this reference are just 1 meter long,i recomend planet waves , not too much expensive and lifetime warranty and they are not crap like yellow cables and some other cheap brands |

PoM - Can't find any online stores that stock Planet Waves in the UK. I only need a short run, but 1M might be cutting it fine. 2M is too long, don't like messy leads. lol
I've found this one. It's 1.5m long. Will it do the job? The price seems low.

i don t know what mean 2x 0.20 sq. mm but i guess it ll do the job, maybe ask them to be sure |
