hi guys, i was wondering if anyone can tell me if i will destroy my m-audio bx5s by connecting it to the computer with a 1/8" split to two 1/4" cable.

pleez get back to me soon cuz i just hooked everything up and i wanna start making music now!

ooh and one more pleez: do u know if i can take cubase vst plugins off a mac and transfer them into logic on a pc?

First one.
I believe its most safest to go thru an AMP with monitors. I wouldnt just go straight into computer with them. So connect your monitors to an amp.
Get a Samson about $100-150. And connect the amp to your soundcard thats the way I have mine hooked up

Second one ... No you cant do it
If you have the installers...Sometimes.. When you buy software you get 2 discs. Or it says compatible with Mac or PC.

Well, turn down the volume to minimum and take it up slowly.

so will i damage them by just connecting it into the audio port on the comp instead of the soundcard? i'm saving for a motu but in the meantime......
