Connect nordrack 2x to cubase 5 problem

Hi there guys. Iam trying to connect my nordrack 2x to cubase
I need help with the settings cause i cannot get this to work.
I open a midi channel and also an audio channel to get the sound out of my monitors.
Then when iam pressing record or "write" (tried both) and tweaking a knob it wont make an automation curve or anything in cubase. I cannot make playback and listen the the automation and I cannot go in and edit the automation.
Hope someone can help me out!

on the nord: hold down shift key and press "PRG.CTRL" and keep pressing until display shows control change "C.oF" and switch that ON with arrow keys..

You should create an external instrument for your Nord:
Go to 'Devices' or press F4 ---> 'External instruments' ----> 'Add External Instrument' ---> name your instrument whatever you like ---> below 'Midi Devices' go to 'open midi device manager' ---> 'Install Device' and pick Nord Lead (Clavia) from the list.
As well you have to setup the audio configuration below the 'Audio Device' tab.
After these steps you should be able to add the external instrument as if it were a Vst instrument, from either 'Vst instruments' (F11) or add your device as an 'Instrument track'

Wtf. Now when i close cubase and open again the midi connection lost again so it wont play back midi notes in cubase? |
