agreed.
also, do you think adding a new subforum named "Critique" or "Analyze this sample" could be useful? on one hand, all those threads that people post asking for opinion on their 5 seconds of kick and bass can be contained in one forum and stop polluting the main production forum. on the other hand, maybe this shouldn't be encouraged at all.
what do you guys think?
it might be even more useful if it's used for all the requests on how to recreate X lead or whatever. so the only rule of the section would be that every new thread must contain a sound sample linked.
just an idea. |

thumbs up
but you got me kinda confused...I had the former equipment section still open and wondered quite a bit when I pressed refresh and lots of threads were gone

This will be alot better, but for the coming weeks it might be a bit confusing with threads flying all over the place. We want to move as many topics as possible as fast as possible, to avoid the confusion.
But i believe alot of users will benefit from this change.

and I have to thank Kane, who drop that idea of having more individual sections around music creation world
So you see people, sometimes things move really fast here;-)

Glad I could help, and thanks for the new sections!
You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

congrats israteam, this place is always improving.
It makes me proud being a member

hmm after short time seems that music software and music production are kind of should be in the same place.. seperate equipment and Djing is totaly cool.. exept one might want to ask how to connect the equipment to the music software then it gets tricky.. (just trying to save some work for mods)

i agree. DJ section is the easy one and should be separate. but things become kind of fuzzy between the other 3. but i doubt it will be changed again, after all the work mr. rosengren and the mods did, moving the topics around.
anyway, you guys (the mods) forgot to remove the old 'Equipment and Music Making' forum from the search. |
