Okie now I`m gonna annoy you dear reader with a pretty long thread so If you don`t feel like reading I`m gonna be reasonable 
Due to differents threads discussing how we should build a DJ set I have to say mi toughts in a thread.
Basically when it`s your turn to play,it`s your chance,your chance to show everybody who`s there chilling your idea of what`s the appropiated soundtrack for that moment,it`s quite obvious that many of us we have acces to the same music so ,the music It`s always there for everybody...the thing is,What you can do with that potential?? Besides play your favourite tracks one after the other one untill you don`t know what to play and you have 2 more hours to go with all the "hits" played.
Myself,I try to show my conception of that moment,what I think it`s "necesary" to hear right here&right now.
It`s always important to surprise,to improve if possible in the development of the set in a "logical" way.Make your journey travelling around the very different BPM structures of the tracks sometimes it`s such a challenge and you need serious concentration..My perfect idea of a set It`s start during the night with some dark&dubby tunes,going thru the melodies when you start to see the sun coming,then you need to be very careful and treat the people as gentle as possible to start going to some more ub-beat vibe untill everybody is awake smilling and enjoying and,Why not??? dancing.
I call this conceptual treatment,getting involved,emotionally speaking,with the crowd and fly or swim with them,doing it for them as much is for you as well,but they`re more important.
