Haven't been able to complete any tracks on FL since I've started producing my novice version of psytrance!!! Whenever I get past 3 mins or so I fall into a lot problems like this static popping sort of noise. My kicks go all over the place and basically I can't complete the track. My CPU usage doesn't go any higher than 18%. Working on a 3ghz P4 with 1 gb RAM. I don't use to many plugins as well. Any idea what the problem could be?

Maybe by your 3 minutes of writting your soundcard cannot handle the data, what soundcard do you use? is it a ASIO 2? what buffer size do you use?

what he said ^^
now in fl .. options -> audio settings -> direct sound properties -> buffer length .. increase it .. more latency but it should stop the clicks and pops .

The increase in buffer length did the trick. Thanks a lot!
