I know i will have a 120GB 8MB cache w/ 7200RPM.... and another 20GB harddrive..... is that enough space??

also i would like to know what processor is good for this..... i would like athlon.... how much is fast enough? will dual processors of a bit lower speed (1.8 GHZ be bettter???) how much ram (is 1GB enough?), and what motherboard is good for this?

hello chorman,

yes, that is enough harddrive space. if you plan on having lots of samples and large vsts like trilogy, stylus, yellow, etc, prepare for more space.

processor, read the post about amd vs intel. no sense in saying the same thing twice

motherboard, any pc99 spec mobo will do. just be savvy enough to turn off onboard sound or whatever else integrated hardware they have if you think it may have conflicts.           www.organicparadox.com

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
